"Sawzilla"

Bringing the Delta Unisaw to Life

September 2000 It's a really big table saw and it's taking a little time to get it all together.  Early 2001

1/13/01 - Posted first pictures of Sawzilla.  Actually made first cuts today after months of delays in the assemble and tuning process.  Just a few more little things and the saw itself is complete.  I plan on building a cabinet to go under the extension table to hold blades, push sticks and other sawzilla accessories.  Made a little sawzilla logo below...

Sawzilla is my new Delta Platnium Edition, Unisaw.  It's has a 3hp, 220 volt, triple-belt-driven motor suspended from a cast-iron trunion housed under a precision machined cast iron tabletop with two 8" table extensions.  The Beismeyer fence slides easily along the 52" extension table which is supported by the heavy-duty portable base.  The 4' outfeed table provides extra support for material passing through the 10" Woodworker II, thin-kerf, carbide tipped saw blade.  Oohhh, Oohhh, Oohhh!

One of the extra benefits of the Platnium Edition...the personalized nameplate.
